Dr. Stephan Neubauer has been involved, clinically and scientifically, for over 15 years in the treatment of prostate carcinoma and the benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). In addition to the pioneer work during the introduction of the brachytherapy in Germany, he has extensive clinical experience with surgical techniques for the treatment of prostate hyperplasia. Dr. Neubauer is one of the pioneers in application of modern laser techniques, and conducts regularly international workshops in this area. As the author of numerous scientific publications and congress contributions, he is a recognized prostate expert, both nationally and internationally.

Study of Medicine at the Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn where he also received his doctorate (summa cum laude) in the topic pulmonary valve.
